​In S3, our young people have the opportunity to experience more depth in their learning by specialising in English, Mathematics, French and six other subjects of their choice. They continue with the Broad General Education by studying one subject from each curricular area but they can also make two other choices.  This opportunity to specialise in fewer subjects provides more depth in their learning and prepares them for subjects that they may choose to take in S4 for SQA courses.
